A studio thatbuilds evenings
Sky Design is a wedding and event design studio in Cairo. We are a small team of designers, florists, and builders who take a room and make it hold a night.
We work on a limited number of events a year. That is not scarcity for its own sake — it is how long it takes to do the drawing, source the material, build the pieces, and stand in the room the night before to see what the light is actually doing.
What we do
Design
Concept, art direction, drawings, and the full material palette before anything is ordered.
Florals
Sourced weekly, conditioned in our own cold room, installed the morning of.
Light
Scenography and lighting design, including power planning and rigging.
Build
Set pieces, structures, and furniture fabricated in-house.
Production
Load-in, the run of the night, and a clean strike by morning.
